Welcome

Karl, Patrick and Sandra welcome you to Lakeside Fishery, a seven acre award winning nature conserve set in the beautiful Lincolnshire Wolds.

Our picturesque tree lined, two acre spring fed fishing lake dates back over 100 years.  This is what pleasure angling is all about; tranquil rural surroundings where you are able to catch a wide variety of species from, rudd, roach, bream, perch, chub, tench, carp, eel and pike. The fishery is designed to appeal to all anglers, from specimen anglers through to those just wanting a peaceful day’s fishing.

If you want a break from fishing there is an abundance of wildlife to sit and watch including ducks, moorhens, wrens, wagtails, jackdaws, woodpeckers, magpies and kingfishers as well as the usual blackbirds, robins etc. We also get visits from a sparrowhawk and a kestrel.

Lakeside is a fishery and campsite located about four miles east of Wragby and five miles west of Horncastle on the A158 (Lincoln Road). We have a Lakeside cabin and also a 30ft static caravan overlooking the main lake, which are available for rent. We also have a campsite for caravans, motorhomes, campervans or tents.

There are numerous places of interest to visit, making Lakeside an ideal venue for a fishing and sightseeing break.
